
Overview
Alex is a partner in the Wealth Preservation, Tax and Succession Planning practice group and advises clients in the following areas: estate planning, estate and gift taxation, charitable giving, trust and estate administration, and probate.
Prior to moving to Chicago, Alex was an estate planning attorney in the San Francisco office of a multi-national law firm where he assisted clients with complex gifting transactions, private family foundations, GRAT administrations, post-death trust administrations and other tax-related and non-tax estate planning matters.
Alex enjoys working with a diverse array of individuals and families and is particularly sensitive to the estate planning needs of married and unmarried same-sex couples with and without children.
