Anissa Ghafarian is an associate in the Complex Litigation Practice Group at Raines Feldman Littrell. Before joining Raines Feldman Littrell, Anissa was an Associate at Larson LLP’s Los Angeles office and White & Case’s New York office, where she focused on complex litigation, white-collar investigations and defense, and international arbitration. She worked on high-profile federal criminal investigations, public nuisance abatement cases, and complex business disputes, representing individuals, corporations, and foreign entities in federal and state bench and jury trials. She was also actively involved in pro bono, focusing on human rights violations, and led several immigration matters for which she was honored with the Excellent Law Firm Award from the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP).

Anissa earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She competed in the USC Gould Hale Moot Competition and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. A passionate human rights advocate from the start of her legal education, Anissa worked for the International Human Rights Clinic, where she published a report analyzing the efficacy of government agencies and worked with international tribunals. She was also a Saks Institute Scholar.
