Elliot A. Resnik, recognized by Billboard Magazine as a top music lawyer in consecutive years, is a partner at Raines Feldman Littrell LLP with a focus on entertainment, content, and experiential transactions. His diverse client base includes Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Grammy-winning and platinum-selling artists, producers, record labels, publishers, festivals, venues, talent agencies, and major brands in entertainment, hospitality, and beverage industries.
Elliot handles a broad range of deals including recording, distribution, publishing, and licensing agreements; intellectual property asset sales; digital and audiovisual content licensing; streaming and broadcast deals; brand partnerships and sponsorships; endorsement and spokesperson agreements; joint ventures; and transactions involving NFTs and blockchain. He is also experienced in live performance agreements, venue operations, and talent management contracts.
A sought-after speaker, Elliot has participated in major industry events like SXSW, Indie Music Week, CMJ, and the Winter Music Conference, and has guest lectured at NYU, Fordham, Cardozo, Hofstra, and others.
He earned his B.A. in Philosophy from McGill University and his J.D. from New York Law School, where he focused on entertainment law. Before joining Raines Feldman Littrell, he held key roles at Masur Griffitts LLP, Herbsman Hafer Weber & Frisch LLP, and ran his own practice. He began his career at TVT Records.
