Jacquelyn H. Choi is a Partner in Raines Feldman LLP’s Bankruptcy Group with almost twenty years of bankruptcy experience. For the past decade, Jackie has successfully represented numerous counties throughout California concerning various bankruptcy issues, including tax disputes. She has significant experience advising corporate franchisors and commercial landlords concerning their franchise, license and contractual rights in bankruptcy. Jackie has also counseled secured and unsecured creditors in all facets of corporate bankruptcy before the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, the U.S. Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Ninth Circuit, the District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and has petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court concerning bankruptcy issues of first impression.
Jackie’s prior experience includes representation of chapter 11 debtors, trustees and creditors’ committees in the restaurant, real estate and retail industries. Prior to joining Raines Feldman LLP, Jackie was an attorney at DLA Piper and Steckbauer Weinhart, LLP.
