LAWRENCE LIU is an associate at Raines Feldman LLP. His practice consists of business and commercial litigation, real property disputes, and labor and employment issues in both state and federal courts. Lawrence is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
As a graduate of University of California, Irvine School of Law, Lawrence is an active member of the Orange County legal community and performs pro bono immigration work on his spare time. During law school, he co-founded UC Irvine Law’s Business Law Society, and served as both a member of the Moot Court Competitions Board and editor of the UC Irvine Law Review.
Significant Engagements & Transactions
- Prior to joining the firm, Lawrence worked on a class action involving breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, and labor and employment claims against both a regional utility company and national labor union, and which resulted in a multimillion-dollar settlement. In another case, he successfully defended the rights of a co-owner of a commercial building complex and simultaneously successfully counter-sued for partition of the property by sale while recovering a substantial award in equitable offsets. Lawrence has also previously served as counsel for a rural healthcare district and worked on election law issues for local public entities.
