Overview
Mr. Crouch brings over 40 years of experience in construction and complex commercial litigation, representing nearly every stakeholder in the construction industry, including public and private owners, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, lenders, and sureties. His work spans a wide range of public infrastructure (such as highways, subways, airports, and schools) and private sector developments (including hotels, office parks, malls, and industrial facilities like power plants, refineries, and chemical plants). He is well-versed in numerous construction delivery systems, including EPC, turnkey, design-build, and environmental remediation projects.
Beyond construction, Mr. Crouch has litigated a wide array of complex commercial matters. These include defending financial institutions—particularly in consumer class actions—and handling securities disputes, accounting malpractice, shareholder litigation, director and officer liability cases, and trade secret disputes. Notably, he secured a seven-figure jury verdict under the Lanham Act and has managed significant insurance coverage and contested bankruptcy matters across industries such as healthcare, sports, and manufacturing.
He also has a strong background in product liability and mass torts, having served as counsel for a major mining equipment manufacturer. Mr. Crouch is a former chair of the Allegheny County Construction Section and has published and spoken extensively in the field. A committed advocate for access to justice, he has led several pro bono initiatives and organizations in the Pittsburgh legal community.
