Overview
Seth Darmstadter is the Co-Chairman of the Litigation Department and Managing Partner of the Chicago Office at Raines Feldman Littrell LLP. Before joining the firm, he served as Managing Partner of Michelman & Robinson LLP’s Chicago office and led its nationwide Class Action & Complex Litigation Practice. A strategic and solutions-driven legal partner, Seth works closely with entrepreneurial and disruptive companies, offering counsel that blends legal expertise with deep business insight. His clients value his loyalty, foresight, and hands-on approach to solving challenges in competitive industries.
Seth previously served as General Counsel for Outcome Health, playing a critical role on the executive team that led the company through a widely publicized crisis stemming from allegations against its former leadership. As a seasoned commercial litigator and trial attorney, he represents clients in state and federal courts and in arbitration forums, handling a wide range of matters such as partnership and business disputes, unfair competition, employment issues, fiduciary duty breaches, restrictive covenants, insurance coverage claims, and tort litigation.
He is especially known for achieving early injunctive relief and aligning legal strategies with client business goals. Outside the courtroom, Seth is a prolific writer—contributing restaurant reviews to Chicago Lawyer and legal commentary to The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin—and has spoken at high-profile events like the Consumer Electronics Show.
